The New York State Sheep and Wool Festival is one of the largest annual gatherings of fiber-arts enthusiasts in the United States. It is attended by knitters, crocheters, handspinners, and growers of natural-fiber-producing livestock. It also includes vendors of the materials and tools associated with each. There are also many special events: Demonstrations, Competitions & Shows, Livestock Displays, and Kid's Activities. Savor will be among the vendors there providing refreshments and goodies to eat!

The Simsbury Woman's Club will be hosting its 49th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday, September 15, 2018 and Sunday, September 16, 2018, and will be co-hosted with the Simsbury Juniors Woman's Club. Over 100 artists and craftspeople will exhibit on Iron Horse Boulevard in Simsbury Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, rain or shine. Admission and parking are free. Demonstrations, food and a bake sale are included. Proceeds enable the Club to grant scholarships and contribute to a number of area non-profit organizations. The Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, Connecticut.
