We will join the fun at the New Britain Museum of American Arts First Friday, the museum’s Best Happy Hour. 

This month’s feature act, Eight to the Bar, will get you on the dance floor as they perform their colorful mix of forties jazz and swing, fifties jump blues, and their own swing and blues infused originals. Known for their powerful female vocals and strong performances, Eight to the Bar packs a visual wallop that has earned them local and national attention.

Explore the museum’s collection with other art lovers in a tour guided by one of the knowledgeable docents at 6 p.m. Relax into a sketching session with a costumed, live model where you will sharpen your skills through capturing the human figure and drapery. Bring your own materials; graphite and pencil only please.

All activities, tours, and performances are included with your ticket.

This ia a German-Inspired Christmas market held on the lawn of the majestic Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum in Canandaigua, New York. The market brings together over 150 regional artisans and unique food vendors.

German food along with traditional fare, wine, beer and "Gideon's Grog" is available. Holiday music fills the tents throughout the show.
  - Raffle Tent- Over 100 prizes donated by our vendors. 
  - Free Park & Ride service on our Holiday Trolley from Canandaigua’s historic downtown area for added shopping, food and FUN! 

The Christkindl Angel is a tradition of this type of market. A local young girl is crowned as our Angel and reigns throughout the event. Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in Santa's House, and visit our Elf School.

The Granger Homestead opens its Festival of Trees when our Market opens. The Festival of Trees will continue through December 2nd. Stop by!
